Payment-services provider Global Payments (GPN) said Thursday it has promoted Financial Chief David E. Mangum to the titles of president and chief operating officer, and named Cameron M. Bready to succeed Mangum as the company’s new chief financial officer. Mangum served as chief financial officer since 2011. As COO, he will oversee the company’s U.S., Canadian and Latin American businesses along with worldwide operations, risk management and product strategy.
He will assume his new role on June 30, 2014. Bready will take over the CFO position effective June 30, 2014, joining the company from electric-transmission company ITC Holdings (ITC), where he also held the title of CFO. ITC unveiled Bready’s plans to depart it late Wednesday, saying he would be succeeded on an interim basis by Rejji P.
Hayes, currently vice president of finance and treasurer at ITC. GPN shares slipped 0.1% to $67.54 recently, in a 52-week range of $44.84 to $73.84. ITC was down 0.3% at $36.65, in a 52-week range of $28.24 to $37.95.
