One of the giant passenger plane makers Airbus still not decided either they will launch their A330neo jet on Farnborough this month at the Airshow however the company is confident to get quite a few orders at the gala event later.
The strategy chief of Airbus Marwan Lahoud informed that they are yet to decide if they are going to launch their A330neo which is the latest version of A330 jet at the airshow which is going to take place during July 14-20 and added that the matter is still being discussed.
However according to the sources the work of technical matters which is to be done on a Rolls-Royce engine along with new wingtips is complete and adding $2 billion on the barring which will be a surprise package will also worked out soon which is yet to get the approval from the board.
The company is looking to upgrade their two models A330-200 which is 253 seats and the A330-300 is a 295 seat jet.
It was also learned that the matters will be discussed just before the airshow or at the meeting which is scheduled on July 30 at their half yearly results.
Meanwhile their main rivals Boeing is also expected to put up a tough fight against the Airbus in the upcoming airshow where the new A330neo could ignite the competition between these two companies for the new orders.
