Alaska Earthquake with 7.0 Magnitude Makes Huge Damages and Power cuts

A Powerful earthquake rattled parts of Alaska that claimed huge damages of roads infrastructures and loss of power in thousands of homes. The quake reportedly hit at 8.30 a.m. (local time) with magnitude 7.0 according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The Mayor of Anchorage Ethan Berkowitz said, "It was very loud when it came, It was very clear that this was something bigger than what we normally experience. We live in earthquake country so folks, but this was a big one." After the quake hit the tsunami warnings that were issued earlier got canceled. 

No human casualties have been reported so far while the damages are huge in the earthquake hit areas. President Trump tweeted about the incident and requested the people to follow the directions led by professionals.
