After a whole day got dumped by rain and called off, the second day came again with rain and India started their 1st innings battling with rain and the England bowlers. After the relief from rain completely, India failed to build at least one big partnership to save the innings although trying hard for the whole day.

The Opening of India still didn’t see the expected raise, as either of the openers scored in any innings so far. The new anticipated opening pair, Rahul and Vijay both went to pavilion early followed by Pujara after a needless run-out. Virat Kohli who was believed to be the saviour of the match like the 1st test got out in the next few overs and the wickets kept falling soon after that. India lost all the wickets at the end of the day scoring just 107 runs in total.

James Anderson bagged 5 wickets in the innings while all the bowlers bowled yesterday are swing bowlers and the pitch looks pretty good for the seam. India with two spinners in their side is taking a risk in such a pitch where it is hard to spin the ball. Kohli and team have to restrict England batsmen within a 100 run lead to get up from the brink of losing the match.
