Indian Squad For England Test Series 2018 Announced By BCCI; Rohit Replaced By KL Rahul

BCCI has announced the 18 men squad for the first three tests against England in the five-match test series. Owing to the top-class performance of Kuldeep Yadav in limited overs cricket, BCCI has given him a spot in the squad. Shardul Thakur is also wearing his first cap in the upcoming test series.

Due to the thumb injury, Wriddhiman Saha has been replaced by Dinesh Karthik and Rishab Pant is also included in the squad for the first time. Jasprit Bumrah will not be seen in 1st test due to cut in the finger. Test specialists Pujara, Jadeja and Ashwin are also included in the squad.

Bhuvaneshwar Kumar misses out the test series due to the lower back injury occurred during the 3rd ODI. Karun Nair and Mohammad Shami make an entry to the test squad while Rohit Sharma couldn't find a spot. Probably this would be a capitancy challenge for Kohli to make a right opening pair from the Dhawan, Rahul and Vijay trio.

Shami, Umesh Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Shardul Thakur.
