Two of the giants in tech business Apple and IBM is set to knot tie after both the companies are looking to develop apps which will be mainly business related for iPhone and iPad.
IBM will also sell the software to their clients which will be pre loaded through Apple devices where the new software will also be included.
However both IBM and Apple were two rivals and according to the experts it will be too early to say either the partnership will prove good for the two giants.
Tech analyst Ken Dulaney said, It's hard to be sure without more details, Enterprises need special features to protect their applications and the associated data. Our understanding is that IBM now has special access rights to certain security features on the devices that others will not have access to.
This permits IBM to offer applications and services through Apple devices that behave more like the software businesses have long built on Windows platforms.
But unknown things include what apps will be produced and what is the financial arrangement between the firms.
Meanwhile the press release which was provided by the company did not mention at which specific work the software will work as it was named IBM MobileFirst Platform for iOS.
It was learnt that the software will help to gather large information for health care, transportation, banking and other retail stuffs which will be effective for the industries related to such operations.
It does, however, mark a fresh attempt by Apple to take advantage of Blackberry's decline and an appetite from the business world for an alternative to Microsoft's products.
But it was a bold move by Apple as they are willing to enter to the business world on a different route to boost their brand value.
