Facebook Buys Liverail

Social networking site Facebook has takeover Liverail a tech based company who are engaged with applicable ads given to the websites and apps through videos.

Liverail also help the companies to post ads on their online videos which the companies can choose by their own.

Though it was not announced the exact amount paid to take over the company but according to the sources Facebook has paid almost $400m to $500m to buy the firm and in future the online video ads will be the next big thing.

According to the vice president of atlas and ads product marketing Brian Boland who said on his blog, More relevant ads will be more interesting and engaging to people watching online video, and more effective for marketers too.

Publishers will benefit as well, because more relevant ads will help them make the most out of every opportunity they have to show an ad

While Liverail informed that they have over seven million ads through videos has been post each month where the industry is rapidly improving day by day.

The online ad industry has been growing in a good pace as the industry have spent over 1bn only at the UK last year which was 93% more than the previous year while in the US the online video ad market may cross over $6bn by the end of 2014.
