A new flagship phone Mi 8 has been unveiled recently by Xiaomi at Shenzhen in China and it is also considered as a commemoration for 8th year anniversary. In addition to Mi 8’s three variants 6 GB/64 GB, 6 GB/128 GB and 6 GB/256 GB, Xiaomi has also released smaller Mi 8 Explorer Edition as a special variant and cheaper version in four colours Grey, Blue, Red and Gold.
The new entry, although a midrange smartphone can compete with high-end rivals iPhone X, Galaxy S9+ and One Plus 6 with iPhone X like Notch Display for the first time, Samsung’s AMOLED display and 3D Face Recognition features. After the launch of company’s previous success model Xiaomi Mi 6 in April, Xiaomi has released it this month with more anticpation. The specifications of Xiaomi Mi 8 SE are listed as follows:

Xiaomi Mi 8 is priced at Rs. 28,000 ($ 415) approximately while its cheaper version Mi 8 SE shall be Rs. 5000 ($75) lesser than its original version that would make it as the best midrange smartphone 2018. The models shall be available in China from June 5 and no announcement regarding its availability in India and other countries.
