Global Health Security Strategy is an effort which tells the US approach to help improve the world's ability to stopping deadly outbreaks even before they spread between countries. The strategy will pursue 3 interrelated goals. Developing nations are strengthened to implement obligations under the International Health Regulations that was enforced in 2005.

Increased support from International level, helping governments to be homeland prepared and resilient against Global Health Threats. It is the first kind of strategy that seeks detection and prevention from various infectious diseases. US administration will undertake a whole government approach to health security. Under this strategy, the fight will be against biological threats, pandemics and will treat the same as its central component.

The United States will continue to make investments in funding to select country partners focused on the priority of global health security risks that will be milestone-driven. In recent days, Ebola, Zika and Yellow fever spread around are the world. Thus, the world may face risk either accidentally or naturally. Outbreaks of diseases are very rapid causing loss of lives. The US hopes that this would support to mitigate these kinds of outbreaks.
