The Philippines is facing heavy rains in the past days and Luzon in last 2 days is seeing continuous rains due to the tropical storms approaching the area. Storm enhanced southwest monsoon is keeping the rainfall at high in the Metro Manila and some parts of Luzon.
The Tropical Storm named Yagi is last recorded to be located 960 kilometres north of Luzon and the Storm Leepi was located 1,965 kilometres from the Northern Luzon. People are asked to be aware of the storm locations and act accordingly to take respective safety measures.
Areas like Ilocos Region, Cordillera, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mindoro are expected to have the heavy rains in the coming days while Batangas, Metro Manila, Cavite, Bulacan, Zambales and Bataan areas might face landslides and floods in the coming days.
