US Radio Jockeys Suspended For Calling The Sikh-American Attorney As ‘Turban Man’

Judi Franco and Dennis Malloy, the American radio jockeys belonging to New Jersey called the American Attorney General Gurbir Grewal as turban man for multiple times in their show and without saying his name the jockeys referred the attorney as a guy with a turban. After a lot of comments they’ve got on social media for their racist comment, they apologised for their actions.

Dennis Malloy said that the attorney deserves more respect and they have a very good relationship with the Sikh and South Asian community of New Jersey and seriously apologised for the disrespect. After the incident, the president of WKXW-FM issued a statement for the press that the language of their employees was inappropriate in that show and this kind of incident never happened before. Both of them were suspended for 10 days for their actions and won’t be on Air until August 6.

The Sikh-American Attorney General, Gurbir Grewal tweeted regarding this issue saying that this is not the first racial discrimination happening for him and won’t be last one too. And its time to end the small-minded tolerance, as expressed by the Attorney.
