Blumhouse’s Halloween storms the box office for another weekend with a considerable drop from the first weekend to make the biggest film of Halloween franchise a bigger hit. The movie collected $32 million at the domestic box office comfortably taking the top spot by a mile difference. So far the film has made $127 million in North America emerging as a huge blockbuster of recent time in Hollywood with a small production budget.

A Star is Born stood right as per the projections, collecting $14 million and the Venom with $10 million took the second and third spots. Failing from the predictions, the new film Hunter Killer dropped at the fifth spot in its opening weekend behind the 2 weeks old release Goosebumps 2: The Haunted Halloween. The titles collected $7.5 million and $6.6 million in its first and third weekend respectively.

Previous releases The Hate U Give, First Man, Smallfoot, had an average weekend while the new release Johnny English Strikes Again opened below the dull expectations that the movie was projected and collected just $1.6 million. This marks the poorest opening in the 3 movies old franchise which had a good outing in the international markets.

With the highly expected releases Suspiria, Bohemian Rhapsody and The Nutcracker sequel coming this weekend, top spots are ready to get altered from the previous weeks. The mixed up horror, fantasy and musical biography genre releases, the box office is sure to get dominated by these films by all sector audience attraction.
