Halloween Set to Top the Box office in its Second Weekend too: US Box office Forecast

The sensational horror franchise’s eleventh film Halloween is having a dream run at the box office and didn’t seem to slow down from the current pace. Without much expected releases this weekend, the horror sequel in its second weekend will comfortably take the top spot and expected to make a minimum of around $35 million at the domestic box office.

Halloween which opened with a record $78 million at the domestic box office, at the end of this second weekend will comfortably cross $130 million. Fans were all filled with the nostalgic connect with the franchise as the making of the film was brilliant with each idea turning the film into a success. The film will undoubtedly dominate the box office until the release of big films Suspiria and Nutcracker films next weekend.

A Star is Born and Venom will continue to hold the second and third spot with a projection of $15 and $12 million in North America respectively. Following the yester-week films, the new coming Hunter Killer looks like a promising film and expected to earn $7.5 million without much anticipations around the film. Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween will take the fifth spot comfortably with $6.5 million figure taking its total to $37 million.

Other notable releases are having limited screens to release due to low buzz and the much anticipated sequel Johnny English Strike Again miserably failed to create any hype for the entertaining franchise and is forecasted to collected $3 million at North America falling outside the top ten weekend box office.
