Airtel 499 Postpaid plan now offers nearly double the data as provided before in the telecom war against Jio and Vodafone. A new revision of 499 PostPaid myPlan Infinity plan provides Airtel subscribers about 75 GB of 3G/4G data per month against its previous 40 GB data. Already the postpaid plans of Airtel that includes 649, 799 and 1,999 provided the revised plan offerings of up to 90 GB, 100 GB and 120 GB data.
Other benefits include free 100 SMS per day and unlimited calls and also a one-year subscription to Amazon Prime. The highlight of the airtel plan is the data upfront i.e., the data can be added up to the next month's pack up to 500 GB max. This option is disabled in Airtel's main rival Jio. As of now, the plan is limited to only selected telecom circles and it will be rollout in all circles very soon.
Considering other telecom's postpaid plans, Jio's 199 postpaid plan is offering 25 GB 4G data and similar benefits as Airtel while Vodafone's 299 postpaid plan offers just 20 GB of data. Vodafone already announced RED Postpaid plans between 299 and 2999 price range providing up to the max. of 300 GB.
