The Venice Film Festival held throughout a week of time and the 75th film festival of Venice got a bundle of screenings with more mastery films and brilliant works from the makers. The festival entertained the audience as always while the films screened in the festival where yet to be released in theatres or online platforms, reports from the event gains huge curiosity among the films to get screens and audience time.
The festival got over last weekend and after all the screenings, the best in each category were awarded the festival titles and the coveted Golden Lion is won by the film Roma directed by Alfonso Cuaron. Last time he won the same title was for his film Gravity in 2013 and it is to be noted that the yesteryear winner of this title The Shape of Water went on to garner a number of Academy Awards.
