The twelfth film in X-Men Universe Dark Phoenix is the first film of a new trilogy with all the lead characters from the X-Men: Apocalypse. The film takes place at a period of a decade after the Apocalypse set in 1992 where the mutants become national heroes after their rescue of the world demolishing the huge enemy of human race emerged in that part.

The trailer of the upcoming X-Men Universe film got the curiosity of the fans with eye-catching visuals showing a grand film in the making. The movie was planned to make as an honest adaptation of the Dark Phoenix Saga novel and seems like the movie has come up with what they intended to do, by seeing the trailer.

Jean grey (Sophie Turner) drives the story of this film, where Jean along with her crew travel to space for a rescue mission and due to an attack of cosmic force she almost gets killed and survives somehow. The incident makes Jean unable to control her power becoming unstable and finally unleashes the Phoenix.

Getting things under control by the team X-Men and battling with Phoenix is the plotline of the film. The movie stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Sophie Turner and directed by Simon Kinberg who has earlier worked as screenwriter and story writer for some of the X-Men films with other movies too. The movie is gearing up for Valentine day release 2019.
